It’s time to meet Hanah and Elena, two sisters, who continue the tradition as third-generation opticians, sharing a common vision and passion for eyewear. In 2021, they founded Mellon Collection, drawing on over 50 years of experience. In Greek, “Mellon” means “future” which is exactly what we strive to offer: timeless eyewear with forward-thinking designs.
Elena, a qualified optician-optometrist, applies her expertise, knowledge, and aesthetic sense to create new products that meet the needs of the modern world. At Mellon, you will find eyewear for both women and men, combining high quality, functionality, and uniqueness. Our glasses are not just accessories—they are a way to see the world as you dream it.
Our Story
Our story began in 1973 when our grandparents opened their first optical store, laying the foundation for a family tradition built on quality and care. This legacy continued with our mother, an experienced optometrist, who opened her store in 1994—a store that remains active to this day. This rich tradition inspires us in every step we take.

We respect the environment we live in and we are constantly taking steps to uphold this attitude, so all of our products are cruelty-free and vegan! The acetate we use is plant-based, our cases are made of faux leather and the packaging of our products including the customer cards comes from recycled materials. With small steps at the time, we can all make a difference. There is no planet B.
